Guests say

Jasmine Cottage is a well-loved, cosy retreat in a picturesque Cotswold village, praised for its peacefulness and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable, and well-equipped interiors, along with the thoughtful welcome hamper. While some noted minor issues with facilities and maintenance, the overall experience is one of a charming and relaxing stay.

Most guests found Jasmine Cottage to be clean and well-presented. However, a few mentioned dust, cobwebs, and a less than sparkling kitchen sink, suggesting room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to walking paths, and the picturesque Cotswold setting. It's considered ideal for a peaceful retreat, with easy access to local attractions.

The cottage is frequently described as cosy and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and a wood burner for warmth. Some guests mentioned a hard bed and uncomfortable sofas, indicating comfort could be enhanced.

The cottage is well-equipped, with ample kitchenware and a good heating system. Criticisms include the lack of a walk-in shower, issues with hot water, and a need for modernisation in some areas.

Guests often mention a generous welcome hamper, which adds a touch of thoughtfulness to their stay. It's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

This cottage is exquisite and in a village which is free from mass tourism. All the rooms are beautifully decorated. The kitchen is superbly equipped. We had a very peaceful , relaxing time, only disturbed marginally by the occasional clopping of hooves.

Pretty, comfortable cottage in good location. Very well appointed and the 'freebies' were thoughtful and very welcome. The only negative was the quality of the cleaning - especially the kitchen sink and the toilet. We left them sparkling for the next guests!

It’s a wonderfully cozy + carefully prepared cottage in an absolutely quiet area.
