Turnditch is a delightful hillside village in the heart of Derbyshire overlooking the Ecclesbourne Valley. Conveniently located on the Belper to Ashbourne road, the village has a church, school and three pubs. There are many walks up and down the valley, as well as cycling and watersports at nearby Carsington Water.

Garden not as big as we thought, and we could not walk the dog at all from the cottage. Stairs very slippy, also a handrail on the wall would help. Apart from that we had a good week rest. Freezer was great to have, and we arranged a delivery from Tesco's, so that was brilliant not having to cart food there. Thank you to Terry and Jane,

They gave us loads of idea's of where to visit. Great help with info on Bakewell. It gets Very Busy. Lovely, Cottage. Spotless, Comfy bed, everything you need for a stay. Great Location. All round great set up. Loved the enclosed Garden for our Dog Billy The Cocker. Highly Recommend This cottage.
