The property is described as cosy, with a convenient location for exploring the area and local walks.

Guests consistently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The property is appreciated for its beautiful views and proximity to walks and local amenities. However, some guests note the busy road and the town setting, which slightly affects the rural experience.

The property is well equipped, with guests mentioning the provision of towels, bedding, and a welcome pack. Some guests suggest the addition of kitchen items and a summer-weight duvet for further improvement.

While guests are pleased with the facilities and maintenance, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

A great base to explore the Peak District. Two very different pubs in the village to cater for different tastes. The cottage itself was spotless (except under the bed where we stored our suitcases). It was comfortable and modern and, despite being next to a busy road, relatively quiet and peaceful, with a lovely view. A few key things missing from the kitchen (scissors, baking tray, bin bags) but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay. Loved the big fridge!

Excellent accommodation with fantastic hosts! Small and compact, but well equipped and spotlessly clean.
