This tranquil cottage is located 5 miles outside the historic market town of Ashbourne, far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the town but still only a short drive away.
On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen offering a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. It then flows into the dining room which has a dining table to seat four guests, once you have finished your dinner you can wind down in front of the wood burner on the comfy sofas. Upstairs you will find a bathroom, refurbished in 2021, which has a bath and separate cubicle shower. There are two bedrooms, the master has a double bed and the second bedroom is a twin. Outside there is ample garden space with a courtyard to the front and a lawned area, and then a courtyard to the rear with stunning views over the fields. Ashbourne has much to offer, the town itself is full of local shops, restaurants and bars. Ashbourne is known as the gateway to the famous Dovedale with its stepping stones and the Peak District. The cottages only a 20-minute drive from Alton Towers theme park.

Beautiful cottage set in stunning scenery. Really comfortable and super clean and well equipped. Lovely to watch the cows and the honesty shop at the farm is a must visit - cakes and sweet treats. Ashbourne is a lovely town and really well placed to explore the area.

A really lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need for a pleasant stay.Loved feeding and watching the variety of birds which visited the garden.The stairs are steep as mentioned but not a problem if you come down then one at a time.A visit to the cake shed up the lane is highly recommended.
