This tranquil cottage is located 5 miles outside the historic market town of Ashbourne, far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the town but still only a short drive away.
On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen offering a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. It then flows into the dining room which has a dining table to seat four guests, once you have finished your dinner you can wind down in front of the wood burner on the comfy sofas. Upstairs you will find a bathroom, refurbished in 2021, which has a bath and separate cubicle shower. There are two bedrooms, the master has a double bed and the second bedroom is a twin. Outside there is ample garden space with a courtyard to the front and a lawned area, and then a courtyard to the rear with stunning views over the fields. Ashbourne has much to offer, the town itself is full of local shops, restaurants and bars. Ashbourne is known as the gateway to the famous Dovedale with its stepping stones and the Peak District. The cottages only a 20-minute drive from Alton Towers theme park.

Had a fantastic weekend away at Hollywell Cottages, the cottage is very charming & well equipped, the only downside was that it seemed the heating & the dehumidifier was controlled be Alexa so even though we turned it down it still came on so it did get rather warm especially when we had the Wood burner also on, other than that it is a lovely quiet retreat & not to far to the main towns

Cant say enough good things about this cottage. Just delightful. Perfectly equipped and gorgeous, quiet, serene. Special mention for the bird table, wood burner and bath.
