This tranquil cottage is located 5 miles outside the historic market town of Ashbourne, far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the town but still only a short drive away.
On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen offering a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. It then flows into the dining room which has a dining table to seat four guests, once you have finished your dinner you can wind down in front of the wood burner on the comfy sofas. Upstairs you will find a bathroom, refurbished in 2021, which has a bath and separate cubicle shower. There are two bedrooms, the master has a double bed and the second bedroom is a twin. Outside there is ample garden space with a courtyard to the front and a lawned area, and then a courtyard to the rear with stunning views over the fields. Ashbourne has much to offer, the town itself is full of local shops, restaurants and bars. Ashbourne is known as the gateway to the famous Dovedale with its stepping stones and the Peak District. The cottages only a 20-minute drive from Alton Towers theme park.

A lovely cottage with everything we needed. Very clean and well maintained.Leaving the fire laid was a lovely touch and one we took advantage of. Would definitely recommend and be happy to go back.

This cottage was an absolute joy to stay in. They have thought of everything we would needed and things we may need such as batteries, light bulbs, dish washer tablets, washing tablets and the tubs of bird food to re-stock the feeders in the garden. The small details made our stay exceptional as well as supplying logs and kindle for the fire. We really couldn’t have asked for a better relaxing stay. Would I stay again - ABSOLUTELY Great location, very central and a great garden centre three minutes away to have a coffee on the way back to the cottage. So quiet and great views out the back. The bird table attracted so many birds and the woodpecker came to visit everyday. Will be booking again!
