Rose Cottage was a lovely little place , which we enjoyed.Finding the house was not entirely straight forward , but no real problem. The steps up to the cottage were quite steep and there was no mention of them in the information supplied. My wife being 80 and not great on her feet , was not impressed.Overall we were happy with our choice.

Perfectly situated, and close to amenities. The surrounding area is very picturesque, with lots of walks, and activities. Having a pub on your doorstep is a great stop after a long day. Definitely recommend.

The cottage itself was perfect, but the garden was not suitable for dogs in my opinion. It is not accesible from a door, you have to put the dog on a lead and walk it out of the front door through communal space and up some pretty dangerous steps. There is no light at night. The fencing made me nervous for my dog who would've struggled to fit through it, but plenty of smaller dogs could and it was a big drop (3m plus). Otherwise, the cottage was very comfortable, had everything we needed, lovely location. The Pubs were great, delicious food and very friendly. Hikes were also perfect straight from the door. Had a little trouble trying to contact them before I set off after an emergency at home meant I had an additional dog and needed their confirmation on.
