This stunning property has an open plan layout with the living room having oak beams and a wood burner. The large patio doors open out on to a secluded patio with garden furniture and a BBQ. Here at Waterfall Cottage you have the best of both worlds: wonderful walks in the surrounding open Derbyshire countryside, and for days out, you are within close proximity to all the major tourist attractions the Derbyshire Dales have to offer. Certainly an idyllic rural retreat, yet the historic spa town of Matlock is only a mile away with its award-winning park where band concerts can be enjoyed on a Sunday summer afternoon, and where an annual Christmas Victorian Market is held in December. Matlock Bath, named the little Switzerland of England, is just a couple of miles away and the famous illuminations are held here each year in September. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
Waterfall Cottage can be booked together with Water Bailiffs Lodge (CC418024) to accommodate up to 12 guests.
Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
There is open water in the property grounds.

Absolutely superb. The host went above and beyond even making homemade treats which were delicious. The little touches really were fantastic. A great stay and everything that you need! Excellent location and we loved seeing the waterfall.

Hosts were lovely, from leaving little mesages around the cottage, advice on where to get dinner and going above and beyond to cater for us and our little one. Cannot fault the location one bit. Secluded and private feel while being a 10 min drive to the main town was a rare find. Gorgeous cottage with a great layout. Rustic feel with high ceilings yet felt immaculately clean which cant be easy!
