Pretty, private and peaceful setting. The property is within walkimg distance of two pubs, unfortunately these were both closed on the Monday we were there, but we enjoyed a chippy dinner instead as plenty of other options available nearby. The lodge itself is a good size and well equipped, the only extras I would add are some wine and pint glases, but we made do, with my partner drinking his guinness out of the measuring jug, which gave us a good giggle. If the weather had been better, there are plenty of scenic spots to explore and enjoy a lovely walk. Would recommend owl cottage as a lovely little getaway.

What a brilliant Lodge in a great location - perfect for walks and Alpaca walking. We will definitely be back. We even made the most of the lovely decking as we were lucky with the sunny weather.

We absolutely loved the this little place to come and stay, relax and rewind!!! So calm and peaceful with lots of outside space for the dog and my son. We could play as a family without getting in anyone’s way. We would definitely recommend it. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. We will be back!!! Thankyou.
