This beautifully decorated, detached holiday home is situated on the outskirts of Stathern, Leicestershire. Offering a family of eight a luxurious base for a relaxing getaway, the property enjoys countryside surroundings whilst still being within reach of thriving cities. Ample off-road parking welcomes you on arrival, so you can easily unpack and get your break started. Head inside to find a delightful open-plan living space, where a kitchen enjoying the quirky combination of minimalistic units and mosaic tiling, as well as a range of top-notch appliances awaits. Once the designated chef of the group has made a delicious meal in the kitchen, take it over to the sophisticated, eight-seater dining table and enjoy a meal with all the family.
After dinner, settle down on one of the plush sofas in front of the Smart TV and enjoy a Netflix show as the multi-fuel fire crackles away in the background. When night falls, pick one of the well-appointed bedrooms to rest in, the first resting on the ground floor and featuring a peacock theme, as well as enjoying ramp access to the garden and near a wet room with support rails; ideal for any guests with limited mobility! Climb the stairs to find three more superb bedrooms (all bedrooms have a countryside theme), the first of these being a king-size enjoying gorgeous decor, the second being a charming double and the last room comprising twin beds with countryside views.

We had a very comfortable stay at Bankside House a great venue for a 3 generation get together for an 83rd birthday celebration I would happily recommend this property with a few reservations Sadly despite many tries we were not able to have any direct contact with the owners, they just did not reply. Sykes Cottages however were very helpful and were able to pass on our questions and were swift in getting back to us. One big problem was on two of the hottest days of the year we could not sit outside. On investigation we were told by Sykes Cottages no awnings / sun shades were provided at Bankside House, such a shame and very disappointing, had we known we would have brought some with us.

! Everything we hoped for in our mini break away. My daughter who is autistic had her best holiday ever with the amazing hot tub and wifi that was working to her standard! My son had loads of room to play outside in the spacious grounds and us well we just was able to relax and make the most of the gorgeous house! It has everything you need. The rooms were all stunning and very comfortable. The hot tub was great . It was faultless . Will definitely be coming back there was a lovely little welcome basket which was a lovely touch . Wasnt too far from lovely pubs for dinner that were dog friendly too
