A delightful cottage, warm, cosy, comfortable, welcoming and stylish. Blisfully quiet too. Everything one could need to hand and an impresive display of local information available. Situated in a charming village and well placed for exploring the lovely countryside round and about. Would happily stay again.

The cottage was just what the doctor ordered! Peaceful, quirky, cosy and comfortable! Eloise the owner contacted me direct to check that everything was ok for our visit. The pub down the road wash charming, weather was not great so we spent a few days with our dog just snuggling up and taking walks and a couple of lunches out, it was totally relaxing and the cottage has everything you need for a warm stay! Also to note the cottage is very dog friendly with furry friends having their ow pooch cupboard full of bowls towels etc. After the last 8 hectic months of work we left feeling chilled and relaxed! We would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again! x

The Stables is a fab little spot. Warm, cozy and beautifully furnished. Ellie the host had thought of everything- maps, walks, places to visit. If you have dogs they are well catered for with a dog cupboard in the kitchen, blankets and towels to try them. We weee visiting Melton but the house and its village is in easy reach of Melton and Belvoir to see the castle. Went with two girlfriends and had the best time. Lovely clean cottage - highly recommend it
