Whether it’s casting a line from the shore or relaxing on a boat in the middle of the lake, the fishing experience is sure to be memorable. Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local rspb reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub. There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabin overlooks an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing licence.

A lovely peaceful setting. This was our 5th visit and we will be back. The grounds are well kept and the lodge was spotless as always. Fishing was good. The veranda was lovely to sit out on with a bottle of wine to share especially as we had lovely weather. The addition of a gate since our last visit meant our dog enjoyed sitting out too. Rachel very friendly and on site most days should you need anything. Shop, Fish & Chip shop and pub in the village approx 1 mile. Lovely to walk to via the public footpath that takes you past the village church.
