Paved terrace with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 9-acre of natural grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 3 cars. 1 small pet welcome (must be kept on lead at all times within the grounds). No smoking. Please note: There are 3 lakes within the grounds.. Unspoilt lake views. These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local rspb reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We have had another fantastic stay at Lakeview lodges.It is so peaceful. No noise, just the wildlife, ducks (lots of them) moorhens and a wood pecker. The lodges are so clean and well looked after, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Perfect pillows for a fabulous sleep. The water in the shower is hot with good pressure. I look forward to the plum loaf on every visit. The welcome pack is lovely, crisps, biscuits, tea, coffee, plum loaf. There is a coop, post office and fish shop in old leake, Rachel recommended the chippy in Butterwick so will try there on our next visit.The fishing was great, almost every catch we had a bite. Catching on maggots and pellets. Although we did have lots of snagging from branches that were in the lake and lost loads of hooks, it could do with a rake through. It can get a bit slippy on the banks, so extra care is needed, maybe stones along the edge might help. We found a fishing shop called Big Catch Tackle at Chapel St Leonards for our maggots and any other bait or tackle you might need, great service, highly recommended! The owner, Rachel is very welcoming and friendly and always stops to check in when out and about or give a wave. We cannot wait to return.

Lake view Lodge was very quiet and relaxing, the Lodge was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed, comfortable beds and a cosy lounge for relaxing in the evening. Sat out on the veranda in the sunshine watching the fisher men and fed the ducks. Had days out to skegness, Sutton on sea and Lincoln. Would definitely stay here again
