Guests say

Guests consistently praise Holly Cottage for its immaculate cleanliness, peaceful location, and comfortable amenities. The adjacent pub, run by welcoming hosts Keith and Dawn, is frequently mentioned for its excellent home-cooked meals. The cottage's setting allows for enjoyable wildlife watching and is a convenient base for exploring Lincolnshire's attractions.

Reviewers unanimously commend the cottage's spotless condition, often using terms like 'immaculately clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.

The location is described as peaceful and ideal for exploring Lincolnshire, with easy access to beaches and countryside. The proximity to a local pub is also appreciated, enhancing the location's appeal.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a well-equipped cottage, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. One minor note on bed comfort from one guest slightly affects the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with guests satisfied with the well-equipped kitchen, ample parking, and the additional entertainment options provided. The lack of a hairdryer and some kitchen supplies in one review suggests room for improvement.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with special note of a breakfast pack provided. While this is a positive aspect, it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Price was the clincher , but when I looked at the location , access to where we were going etc , a little drive ,but we dont mind , as it gives us chance to explore new places . Upon arrival met with a very clean , spacious comfy cottage , beds comfy , all appliances and a breakfast pack too ! , easy to access and plenty of parking , with options to visit there pub in the week too although we spent all our days exploring and day trips so didnt have food there . Great comms from the host. We were lucky with the weather too ! bonus . We would certainly stay again , thank you very much :)

We had ample parking as the pub was closed for the duration of our stay. The facilities were great and the beds very comfortable (great pillows!) The kitchen was well equipped, though some foil, wrap and kitchen roll would have been useful - though we managed. And the breakfast pack was a lovely surprise and very tasty. We enjoyed coffee at the nearby Claythorpe Mill and a great day trip into Lincoln on the Park & Ride. Thanks for a great stay :)
