PositivesQuite locationFriendly enough ownerModern kitchenCleanish1. Not on a working farm as per listing until recently. Working farms surround the property but most isolated country properties do.2. Our introduction from the owner. Patio doors leading to patio area (joke of patio area) DO NOT OPEN AS BROKEN. Front door (certainly beaten up not a pleasant entrance). Do not let dog in garden as I just have put down weedkiller. The rest of the property standard introduction.3. Patio area not pleasant, surrounded by brambles, garden area very neglected and alot of scrap/rubbish cluttering the garden.4. KitchenCooking pans for "culinary enthusiasts" 1 smal frying pan, Saucepan and stockpot. Along with 3 pyrex dishes. 2 steaks overflowed the frying pan.Hot water, is a trickle and never comes out very hot. Along time to before it comes out warm. Well below regulations for hot water to start flowing from turning on tap. e.g. 25 seconds to fill a standard coffee cup. Easier to boil a kettle for washing up.5.BathroomCracked, broken and uneven floor tiles. Also grubby. Plus felt you would fall through one day.Shower did not work one day. Tried to contact owner by phone text and knocking door failed but he was at home and saw him just before we went out. Shower temperamental and told to leave set up and turn on via pull cord as it may trip again.Sealant grubby in shower.Rusty grabrails in shower one not very secure.6.VerminReported vermin in loft.Possibly rats or squirrel in my opinion, told by owner most probably pigeons on roof.That evening spotted a squirrel go in under eaves. Reported to owner, response was "nothing I can do about squirrels" I accept you are in the country but, please deal with it.The squirrels were in the false wall near our bed, this lead to disturbed nights. Bang on the wall stopped the noise for a while. Informed owner about noise and disturbed sleep and response " most probably the squirrel we feed"7. Towels a bit tierd8. PAT Feb 2023 not all appliances.9. Very poor outside lighting only 1 out of 3 lights work. Torch need to approach front door.Most items highlighted and dismissed by owner.
