Close to Lincoln, Louth and the coast, it is a great base for exploring Lincolnshire. The cottage itself was very well equipped and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. Log burner was lovely in the evening and the local pub - the Blue Bell Inn - was very good.

The history behind Lizzieâs Cottage is fascinating and it was lovely to look through the photographs of the beginning of the renovation. If youâre looking for peace and quiet then this place is ideal. I did a couple of walks from the cottage, so nice not to have to use the car. Iâve never been to the Wolds before, although I live in Lincolnshire, and I now realise what Iâve been missing! I would highly recommend a stay at Lizzieâs Cottage and plan to return next year.

Everything you need. The weather was kind to us and we managed to walk around 50 miles in the week all from the doorstep. We even managed to sit in the lovely garden every day. We met Sharon the owner on our first day and she is a very nice lady, either herself or her husband was always there if you needed them, but not intrusive.
