The house was lovely, the view was great, and we enjoyed our stay. It was a very comfortable place.

Really lovely place, quiet, peaceful, surrounded by countryside. Within walking distance to the village. The host had left a great supply of groceries which was very generous and welcome. The cottage was equipped with everything that was needed. The garden was enclosed allowing my dog to explore on his own within a safe space. Really enjoyed our time here. Walking locally and using the car to visit nearby towns and places of interest. Most of which were about 30 minutes drive away including gorgeous dog friendly beaches.

The shepherds bothy was in a perfect location for exploring the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds . The enclosed garden and the views were really good and it was a nice space to sit in to have breakfast or watch the evening sun. One side of the garden is adjacent to the road which comes out of the village and up the hill so there was occasional traffic noise. The double bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The kitchen was compact but there was enough equipment to self cater, although there was no table to sit round. It is worth noting that the freezer is really just the icebox at the top of the fridge. The second bedroom is only really suitable for small children with steep open wooden stairs out of the living room into the roof space and a very low ceiling.
