Spend the day at the beach on the East Coast, or head west to Lincoln, famous for its cathedral and castle. With good walks and cycle routes straight from the door, as well as excellent golf courses, the area is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The nearby market town of Louth, with many good pubs, tea rooms and restaurants to enjoy refreshments in, is only a short drive or taxi ride away and is ideal for those looking for a good meal in the evening after a day exploring this fabulous area. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Lovely cottage in a great quiet setting. It was nice and warm when we arrived (January) we didn't need to use the fire! Friendly host. Good dog walks from the front door.Take milk with you.

Warm, comfortable cottage with plenty of logs available for burner. Decorated for Xmas. Lacking a few household items eg dustpan and brush, washing up cloth.Good location for Louth and day visit to Lincoln and Mablethorpe. No immediate eateries or village pub.

No info re appliances. No welcome pack. No wifi and password info. No folder showing general info…recycling etc, or any places of interest.Kitchen very dark and windows high so no view from cottage apart from tree tops from dining table, when seated.We had beds joined together so meant bedside table at one side only.Bed comfortable but recommend having twins. More room.When owner came home he was very charming apologetic. Said he would sort things out…..but don’t think he’s there often.Top shelves of units very high. Inaccessible without standing on a chair,On the whole a good holiday and we did leave info sheets from places visited in folder for future use.
