Guests say

The Granary is a well-received cottage praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and peaceful countryside location. Guests appreciate the effective underfloor heating, secure garden, and scenic views. The property is ideal for dog owners and those seeking a quiet retreat. Some guests suggest improvements in comfort, particularly the sofa, and note the open-plan layout may not suit everyone.

Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to their overall experience.

The property is appreciated for its quiet, countryside setting with scenic views, and proximity to towns and beaches. However, some guests note it is somewhat remote, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

While the property is generally found to be cosy and the beds comfortable, several guests find the sofa to be tired and uncomfortable. The open-plan layout and lack of privacy in the second bedroom area are also mentioned as drawbacks.

The property is equipped with modern facilities, including effective underfloor heating and a well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests mention minor maintenance issues such as the need for blackout curtains and a temperamental cooker.

There are mixed comments regarding the welcome pack, with some guests finding it underwhelming and others not mentioning it at all. As such, while the property may occasionally offer welcome gifts, they should not be expected on every visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Farm Cottage , beautifully located in the country side. The cottage was very clean and modern. I would highly recommend Rose Farm Cottage , we are gutted we didn’t stay longer than 2 nights but we are looking to return in the summer. Thank you !

I originally booked this cottage as it is dog friendly, unfortunately our dog passed away. However the garden and the field behind were exceptionally good. The house itself was smaller than it looks. The settee is tired, low and uncomfortable. The batteries were dead in the TV. Decorated for Christmas was a single Christmas tree - underwhelming. The welcome pack was as you’d expect in a hotel sachets of tea coffee sugar - poor. I’ve been to other cottages and the welcome pack has always been, well, welcome. I would recommend if you have a dog but I wouldn’t select this property again for Christmas.

Lovely property - underfloor heating extremely effective! Made even better with acces through the rear garden directly onto a large open field - dog loved it! Will certainly be visiting again.
