The Parlour is a well-received cottage, praised for its quiet location, comfortable amenities, and secure garden ideal for dogs. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the relaxing environment, and the proximity to local towns. Some minor issues with maintenance and Wi-Fi security were noted, but overall, the property offers a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Most guests found the property very clean upon arrival, contributing to a positive start to their stay. One review mentioned an odour and the need for better airing, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to market towns and amenities. Some guests noted the road can be noisy with fast vehicles, and the property is slightly isolated, which is preferred by some.
The cottage is generally found to be comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and great views. However, some guests mentioned issues with the mattress firmness and outside lights affecting sleep quality.
Facilities are well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden. Criticisms include the lack of smart TV as advertised, unsecured Wi-Fi, and the need for some refurbishment and blackout curtains.
While guests have not mentioned any specific gifts, the provision of a poo bin for dog owners and ample tea, sugar, and coffee are thoughtful touches. However, there is not enough information to score this category accurately.

Beautiful cottage! perfect for myself, my partner and the dog. So warm and cosy with the underfloor heating, and the cottage has everything you need. Peaceful views from the back garden with access to a short walk in the field which has a dog poo bin at the entrance (which was very useful).Close drive to Woodhall spa and Horncastle, lots of amazing woodland walks close by with good parking facilities. Would definitely recommend The Parlour to anyone looking for a cosy stay with lots of local walks Thankyou!

The Parlour is a beautiful setting in the Lincolnshire woods, the views are lovely and having taken my dog the garden is a lovely size. The accommodation was clean and so relaxing. Just a note the fridge is integrated and the freezer is not so please don’t mistake the freezer for the fridge as I initially did haha. The only thing that could be an inconvenience is the parking - if one person in the other cottages parks without thought you may have to reverse in but this is not the property owners ‘fault’ - loved it

Lovely quiet location but not far to nearest market town. The cottage was warm and comfortable with a great secure garden that our dog loved and an even better field for a dog walk at the back. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
