Set in the grounds of the owners’ working arable farm sit these wonderful properties, consisting of Roach (UK42139), two semi-detached holiday cottages (refs UKC1907 and UKC1909) and two semi-detached adjoining lodges (refs UKC2202 and UKC2203) which have an inter-connecting locked door, which can be opened to interlink the lodges if required. The grounds benefit from two large, well-stocked fishing lakes.
The properties provide comfortable accommodation and share an indoor heated swimming pool and 20 acres of grounds (please bring own towels to use at the pool). The city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, castle, Christmas markets and Magna Carta Visitor Centre, is just 5 miles away, with the showground at Newark, approximately a 15-minute drive, well known for its international antique fairs. There are also good walks and cycle routes in the area. Burton Waters inland marina is close by, with a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Carp Cottage (ref UKC1907), Koi Keep (ref UKC1909), Lucy’s Lodge (UKC2202) and Ammiee’s Lodge (UKC2203) can be booked together to accommodate up to 26 guests.

Hats off to Peter and Natasha - great communication pre visit and very friendly in person (not forgetting the dogs!).The whole place - house, grounds, swimming pool etc. are very well looked after and clean (if you can excuse the mess left by the geese!).The house is well equipped and comfortable, and the electricity meter takes £1 and £2 coins.There is plenty to do in the area (Lincoln is a lovely city), the farm shop and cafe in Doddington is worth a visit or two!And the fishing is another bonus - some decent sized carp in the bigger lake and plenty of places to fish from.

We were a family of six and the accommodations were just what we needed. Grandparents were upstairs, where the bigger bathroom was ! Having single beds makes sleeping configuration easier. The kitchen was well equipped and the baking utensils looked brand new. Sufficient utensils and crockery. A lovely box of chocolates on arrival. Place was clean, tidy and comfortable. The boys had many an hour on the lake and it’s estimated they pulled a twenty pounder out !! We also made use of the pool on many occasions. Excellent base for what we were looking for. Highly recommended.
