This beautiful lodge sits amidst 7-acres of landscaped grounds, overlooking a small lake. The lodge boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the open plan living space in light whatever the season. Step through the French doors onto the decked patio and take in the view. The en-suite master bedroom leads directly to the private garden and the hot tub, which allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy a warm and relaxing spa experience. The second bedroom is a twin room, and together with the three piece bathroom, makes this a very flexible choice of accommodation. On the doorstep is the 300-acre Whisby Nature Reserve, full of wildlife, walks and trails; a beautiful and calm place to while away a few hours.

No trip to Lincolnshire is complete without paying homage to the magnificent Lincoln cathedral with its central spire, which made this the tallest building in the world until 1549 when the spire collapsed. Children and grown-ups delight in the seeking out the famous Lincoln Imp, turned to stone by an angel for misbehaviour according to legend! Lincoln owns one of only four surviving copies of the Magna Carta, and there is a copy inside the castle, with detailed interpretation. The city is a shoppers' haven with some fabulous independent boutiques to tempt within the Cathedral Quarter, Bailgate and Steep Hill. The county offers a huge variety of places to visit for you to discover your own Lincolnshire.

The choice is amazing; take your pick from the coast, the city, the Wolds, the Fens, the countryside and the Vales. The Peak District is also very accessible, for a day out in the one of the UK's natural adventure playgrounds! A wonderful base in a beautiful region.
