With easy access to local amenities and off-road parking for two cars, The Imps Pad is an excellent base for a family or group of friends looking to explore Lincoln and the surrounding attractions of Lincolnshire. Be welcomed into a light and airy kitchen/diner with loads of home-from-home amenities to cater to your culinary needs, so why not cook a heart-warming meal and enjoy it at the dining table? With plenty of natural light from the large windows, the first-floor sitting room has a Smart TV ideal for a movie marathon and a sitting area with a glass roof, overlooking the trees and houses, ideal for morning coffee. Three bedrooms await your relaxation, beginning with a well-presented double on the first floor with a handy en-suite, and there is a second double and a twin bedroom on the second-floor, as well as a shower room where you can freshen up after a long day of exploring the local area. Located on a quiet street, the property opens up onto the well-known Steep Hill, leading towards Bailgate. Situated next to the Collection Museum and Usher Gallery, the property allows guests to explore the local history and heritage, before dining out at one of the many cafes or tasty eateries, including the Italian restaurants close to the property. There are plenty of bars, pubs and independent shops to be explored, as well as walks beside Foss Dyke and Boultham Mere Nature Reserve, and there is a local golf course. Visit the impressive Lincoln Cathedral, the intriguing Lincoln Castle, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and the lovely Arboretum. Whisby Nature Park allows avid birdwatchers to explore the local wildlife, whilst amazing animals can be seen at Woodside Wildlife Park. Embark on a walk through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or cycle through the scenery. All of this and so much more with a stay at The Imps Pad.
The city of Lincoln is a great spot for exploring, with so many local attractions. The Da Vinci Code and Young Victoria's coronation sequences were filmed at the spectacular hilltop mediaeval church, which not only has stunning architecture but also served as the backdrop for both of those movies. Views of the city may be seen by climbing the tower and exploring the castle's walls. Enjoy the outdoor theatre, rock and pop concerts, and re-enactment weekends in the castle grounds during the summer. Lincoln's Magna Carta is also housed in the castle. In the cathedral area of Lincoln, there are many charming and unique individual stores, as well as the well-known Christmas Market in the first few days of December.
