Situated in 60 acres of countryside just a short drive to Lincoln and Newark, these comfortable, detached lodges, Humphrey-Basil Lodge (ref UKC2176), Winston Lodge (ref W43482), Oscar Lodge (ref W43483) and George Lodge (ref W43484), offer an excellent base from which to explore the area, or to simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this tranquil location, in addition to the tranquil setting, stunning countryside views and alpacas grazing. The Timothy Suite (UKC2177) also has stunning countryside views and is situated on Birchdale farm yard.
We have a beautiful Woodland walk for our guests to enjoy, which takes a circular route around our 60 acre farm. Your dog’s have their own enclosed field - Bertie’s playpen - to let off steam.
Lincoln is well known for its Christmas market, famous cathedral and castle, which houses the Magna Carta Centre. The Bailgate shopping area of Lincoln has many restaurants and shops. It is a great place to explore, and a walk down the hill into the centre of the city takes you to the vibrant Brayford Wharf area. Newark Showground is about 10 minutes’ drive away, and is well known for its international antique fairs. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door, as well as golf courses in the local area. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Lost Village Music Festival 2021 26th-29th August inclusive is directly opposite the lodges - please be aware there will be noise until the early hours, and the access road will be closed but you will still be able to get through.George Lodge is having a Glamorous makeover for 2022. Winston Lodge is adding a Kingsize bed to the master bedroom for 2022

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Has everything you need pots pans airfryer. Very clean and decorated to a high standard. Heating from electric storage heaters are not instance the one in the hall way we couldn't figure out and for this one there were no instruction . The lounge keep nice and warm once we turned the heaters up and had the fire on (it was on 3 degrees outside)Loved the Alpacas in the field well nosey but such fun to watch them.The enclosed doggy field was great our 2 lived it .. close to Newark and Lincoln would definitely recommend

The lodge was immaculate and there was everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the alpacas and enjoyed the woodland walk. Unfortunately we thought the games room was within our lodge but it wasn’t.I found this was false advertising. It was dirty and smelt awful. My daughter was very disappointed. I wouldn’t say it’s entirely dog friendly either. Other dogs came by our lodge and left their remains!! We had to wedge the outdoor seating across the patio so that our old dog couldn’t get out. However, we felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the lodge.
