A lovely cottage that provides superb accommodation for a family of four or two couples with a large living/dining room and an enclosed lawned garden ideal for sitting out and enjoying the weather as well as for family and pets. The village pub is just a stroll away with the village park just over the road for children to enjoy. Situated in the top half of Lincolnshire this is a superb touring base just 30 minutes from the east coast and just 25 minutes north of the city of Lincoln.
There is something for all the family in the area to enjoy with the antique centres and regular markets at Hemswell Cliff closeby, Gainsborough is just 12 miles away and the city of Lincoln famous for its cathedral, castle and vibrant Brayford Wharf area is just 25 minutes’ drive. Also within half an hour is Market Rasen races, the Lincolnshire Wolds where you can explore the beautiful Wolds villages with many good tea rooms and pubs on route for refreshment. Newark with its marina and show ground is just 45 minutes’ drive. From the door there are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Shop and pub ½ mile.

Stonegarth is a very nice clean little semi detached cottage in a peaceful location unfortunately there were some niggly issues, as mentioned in previous reviews the cupboards containing crockery etc. smelt fusty some of the cooking equipment needs replacing and the shower control is extremely stiff and needs a lot of force to change the temperature up or down, the pub which is a minutes walk away does not serve food and there is no shop locally as is mentioned on the website, the nearest shop is in Redbourne just under 4 miles away

Comfortable, like being home from home. Exactly as described. Garden secure for little doggy. Just think bathroom sink unit could do with a make over as can smell feisty. Otherwise very nice.
