The Grade II listed historic manor house is tucked away in a quiet, tranquil area with uninterrupted views and an acre of garden to explore. It is a period property, believed to date from the 12th century, which has been modernised whilst retaining its grand period features. Sleeping up to 17 guests across four floors, it has a games room/arcade machine, music and karaoke system, piano, outdoor hot tub and private sauna for guests’ use.

Transport yourself back in time as you enter the sweeping driveway and are met by this eye-catching period property. Enter via the double doors onto the ground floor where you will find a traditional yet stylish dining room, with full height windows to allow light to cascade into this wonderful room. There is an expansive, period-style living room with U-shape sofas, Smart TV and Wi-Fi, plus a large kitchen with all modern comforts including a pod coffee machine, air fryer, three ovens and a waffle maker.

The lower ground floor showcases elements of the old stone castle that once stood here, and offers a fantastic entertaining area for friends and families. There is a games room, karaoke machine, Sony music system, private sauna and additional living area located on this level.

The bedrooms are split between two further levels. On the first floor East Wing is a double bedroom with en-suite, and one single bedroom. On the first floor West Wing, there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, two additional double beds, one with a single bed, and a family bathroom. On the second floor you will find a double bedroom, a second bedroom with 3 single beds, additional bathroom and further living area.

Behind the main house is what was once a formal garden, again surrounded by mature trees and flora. From the main garden you are led through an opening to a further expanse of garden from where you can enjoy views over local farmland. Lots of countryside walks along nearby rivers and lakes are available from your doorstep.

The traditional building provides a spacious retreat with all modern comforts which is suited to groups of families or friends looking for a peaceful getaway. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate stag/hen parties and large events at this home. A historic building with many unique features, this is truly a one-of-a-kind property located in such a charming and tranquil setting, while still close to all the conveniences of Milton Keynes.
