Lovely lodge and surroundings. Just small bedrooms and ensuites in the Alwalton. Would try another lodge next time.

It's not really a lodge but a cladded caravan. That said, it was spacious, clean and modern. There was a washing machine which wasn't mentioned in the listing which was an added bonus. Dressing gowns and shower gels were also an added surprise. There are no drawers in any of the bedrooms, just a wardrobes which was a problem when you're staying for two weeks, we went to Argos and bought some hanging storage to put inside the wardrobe for t-shirts, underwear etc. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well. The lighting in the bathrooms isn't great which made contact lenses /shaving/ makeup tricky.There is a stand for a disposable BBQ on the deck which seems to conflict with their eco credentials. The lodges are surrounded by meadow flowers and newly planted trees, once the trees have matured a bit privacy will be improved.There was plenty of parking next to the plot.
