The accomidation itself is lovely, HOWEVER there were a lot more downfalls than positives. No wifi in the lodges, and no phone service or 4/5G, so whilst you’re in the lodges you can’t use your phones, or make phone calls.We physically had to drive offsite to use our phones to plan our days. There is a smart TV, but as I said, no wifi or service so can’t use it. Other than walking in the forsest, which was lovely, there is nothing to do in the area. The closest town is Dorchester, which is not a nice place. Check in is 4pm on your arrival day, and checkout is 9.30am, which takes 2 days off of your stay. we stayed for 4 days but only got to experience 2 days in the lodge. They also ask that you clean the cabin, put all plates back exactly where you found them, and take all your rubbish with you, and they threaten to charge you if everything isn’t back in it’s place. Hottub was lovely.

We had a lovely holiday. I particularly liked the policy of no cars at the lodges (except for loading/unloading or drop off), which meant it was very peaceful and safe for the children. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we needed. The cabin was a little snug, but perfect all the same. The lodge and hot tub were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely location, really close to Clumber Park, so we had lovely bikes rides every day. We had a great half term break and will go again.
