A lovely little break away, if you’re after some well needed R&R, to get away from city life, busy work life or anything like that this is the place to really relax, chill out and enjoy the peace. We went there to literally do nothing, little walk around the nearby town, coffee shops, couple beers in some local pubs and then just really chilled out reading books with the outdoor fire place. Exactly what we wanted and needed! Highly recommend

Relaxation to a T. The ideal p!ace to unwind and relax from the stresses of everyday. We had a brilliant stay at Herdwick. Both the indoor and outdoor accommodation was fantastic. Everything you needed and more. From the onset we were made to feel welcomed by the owners, thoughtful little touches like milk for tea and coffee in the fridge (along with some tasty chocolate biscuits). This attention to detail just made our break even more memorable. We would highly recommend Herdwick and look forward to booking another break in the near future.

Honestly such a beautiful place. Nice and hidden away, so you don't hear the constant rush of traffic, enough space between the huts so that you get enough privacy. Hot tub was amazing and perfect temperature! Bed was so comfortable and the hut itself was spotless and minimalist, but still had everything useful in it. The added touches of an outside table, firepit, BBQ and hammock were so gorgeous too. The sheep outside were so sweet and friendly and the owner always stopped for a chat and was lovely as well. The amount of little birds around as well was such a bonus for me too! Will definitely be coming back again! Thank you!
