The Farm House was the brilliant gathering place for a family get together, embracing people from around the world. Beds were (wonderfully, given jet lag of a couple of us) comfortable, hidden nooks perfect for teenagers needing to do exam revision and adults catching up on many miles of “life” having happened since we last saw each other, the hot tub relaxing and therapeutic (and the ducks were entertaining, too). The kitchen/dining area was a great hub of laughter, good food (thank you for the welcome pack gifts!), and the outdoor tables and chairs ideal for cooling down around after VERY hot days! We enjoyed gentle strolls, the proximity to a farm shop, the opportunity for the teens to get a train from Newark to Nottingham to explore independently. Thank you, thank you!!

The place is awesome. Very clean well kempt home. Great Communication from owners. Loved the complimentary snacks. Very informative guest folder. We enjoyed the clearly directed walks. This was our second stay at The Farm House and our third at Honies Farm. We are a family party of four generations (plus a large dog) and the space and layout of the Farm House work very well for us. There were more TVs than we needed and plenty of bathrooms. The washing machine and tumble dryer were used to clean the large number of dog towels needed for our fur baby. The outside hose also made our job of cleaning him up after a walk easier. The property is exceptionally well equipped and maintained to a very high standard.We have no hesitation recommending The Farm House.
