Overall we enjoyed our stay at No.7 Lilypad Cottage. I would say that the cottage is basic 3* accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped but we felt that the cleanliness overall could have been better. Some of the dishes weren’t completely clean (probably from the dishwasher) and when I had to search under the sofa for my dog’s ball, it looked like it hadn’t been pulled out and cleaned underneath for years! We booked primarily for the downstairs bedroom and shower room, as well as the indoor pool (which was a real highlight for the kids). The size of the cottage was comfortable for 9 people and 2 dogs although the garden is quite small. However, everything was fine for a short 3 night stay and it was a great base for exploring the area.
