This exclusive and picturesque village backs onto the Exton Estate which dates back to the 12th century and enjoys a fabulous village pub. Or for the more sedate, there are many walks, great places for fishing or spotting the local birds from the bird watching centre at the nature reserves. Cycling is also very popular in the surrounding area.
The market towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford are close by and they all have a range of shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. Do you love history and grand houses? Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need and lots of logs for the fire which great as we stayed in November. It was a shame the village pub was closed but there were lots of places to eat out nearby. All in all a great place to stay. Would highly recommend.

A nice cottage. Bathrooms could do with upgrading. Sad that the pub was closed. Not too far to travel to nearby towns and facilities

A great place to stay. Ideally situated for exploring the local area but a lovely place to come 'home' to after a day of exploring.
