The park itself is beautiful, peaceful and very picturesque. The lodges are well spaced out, making it feel quiet and private, and there is good CCTV coverage throughout the site which adds reassurance. The location is excellent and the décor inside the lodge is modern and attractive.The lodge was well equipped for self-catering, with everything we needed. It was a nice touch to be welcomed with bread, cake, milk and washing-up supplies. Having Smart TVs in every room was also a great bonus, and the hot tub was excellent. The swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. Parking was convenient, and the information pack provided was clear and helpful.There were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that prevented the stay from being perfect. The lodge was missing a lampshade In the bedroom and a few other little maintenance bits that such as leaking tap which took away the luxury feel. The lodge was uncomfortably warm with no obvious way to cool it down and seemed to be constantly 28 degrees even tho all underfloor heating etc was off. The pool booking system was also quite confusing, and the lack of any on-site staff or physical reception meant it was difficult to get support when needed. I mean literally no staff this lodge stay is all do it yourself . I enquired a bit of time before my stay and the help was useless. I ended up buying 3 lots of credits which I didn’t use as it just kept going through even though I didn’t want it too. We also couldn’t access the TV properly as it’s secured in the wall so couldn’t use a fire stick - I advise a bracket that pulls away from the wall. There also wasn’t enough toilet roll supplied for the duration of the stay.Overall, we had a really enjoyable break thanks to the beautiful setting, great facilities and comfortable lodge. With a little more attention to maintenance and guest support, this would easily be a five-star stay.

Loved this lodge, enjoyed it's facilities. Unfortunately the weather was rather hot making it a little uncomfortable to sleep.
