Lodge was great, good selection of cooking equipment.More trays in the oven would of been helpful.The lodge was clean and lovely.Being pet friendly van sometimes means towels try to palm you off with the budget range and spend more time cleaning which can be frustrating as generally you pay more to take your pet, but I didn't feel we was given any different to any other customer on site.

We had such a lovely stay at Knights Lodges and honestly couldn’t fault it! We booked a pet friendly lodge despite not having a pet, so we were slightly worried there may be dog hairs around or a pet smell, but we needn’t have worried at all. The lodge was beautiful and absolutely spotlessly clean; you would never have known it was pet friendly!It had everything we needed for our stay. There were spare pillows in the wardrobes, a clothes airer, iron and hairdryer, and the kitchen was really well equipped. The hot tub had been freshly refilled and was super clean too. The Prosecco, fresh bread, milk and fruit cake waiting for us on arrival were such lovely touches and made us feel really welcome.Communication and service were excellent throughout. We received texts explaining how to access the lodge and they also checked in to make sure everything was okay. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and helpful and really couldn’t have done more for us. We did have an issue one evening when one of the bath taps broke. We contacted them after 10pm and they arranged for someone to come out and fix it straight away. We were so grateful that someone came out so late, and because it was dealt with immediately it didn't cause us any problems at all. Fantastic service!We also used the swimming pool in the fitness centre which was lovely. The location was perfect for us too, with lots of beautiful places to walk and so many great family days out within easy reach.We had such a brilliant few days here and are already talking about coming back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
