Holemire Barn is highly praised for its peaceful and scenic location, ideal for exploring the northern Lakes. Guests appreciate the comfortable accommodation, the friendly owner, and the abundant wildlife visible from the property. The unique upside-down design and the well-stocked bird feeders are notable highlights. While some minor issues are mentioned, such as intermittent mobile signal and parking, these do not detract from the overall positive experience.

It was a good location for the activities we wanted to do.The weather was kind to us which meant we were able to do all we had planned. So nice to have a window on to the bird feeders and to see the red squirrel.

Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax after a day's walking and visiting the great places the Lakes have to offer. Great to watch the different birds feeding from the window. Would highly recommend.

It is a charming, comfortable, clean and well-maintained dwelling. The only problem we had was with the power shower, which sometimes switches to cold during a shower, or fails to heat the water upon start-up. This may just be a temporary maintenance issue but apart from this minor inconvenience, we would thoroughly recommend Holmire House Barn.
