Offering the best of both worlds, the cottage provides guests with all the amenities of the town while still enabling access to beautiful walks and the stunning Lakeland Fells direct from the door. The interior is finished in a modern and contemporary style but still retains a homely’ cosy cottage feel. The cottage has a patio garden area leading out from the living room together with private parking and makes an ideal base for both walkers and those simply looking for a relaxing break.

    Excellent location (with car parking…. A big plus) and nice clean accommodation and would rebook. A couple of minor “cons”. Front door lock is a bit temperamental and exit via the garden doors was necessary on occasions. Extractor fans in bathroom and kitchen are noisy and the sofas are not the most comfortable. These apart it was a good stay and would recommend.

    Lovely, bright and clean property. Very useful to have designated car parking space. Super comfy beds. Well equipped.(Vertical blinds could do with a refresh)

    Excellent accommodation couldn't fault it, so near the town but so quiet will definitely stop here again.
