Grab fish and chips (350 metres) and savour them back at the property or spend an afternoon exploring Keswick Museum and Art Gallery (0.5 miles) and the famous Derwent Pencil Museum (150 metres). The River Greta flows through town, while the shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) await lake cruises and self-guided boating trips. Keen walkers can tackle the 10-mile circuit around the lake or head for Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles). Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles) is also a fab option for boating and paddleboarding.

Part of a larger complex, the apartment has a split-level open-plan living area for spending time with fellow guests after days out exploring.
