Keswick is one of the Lake District’s most lively market towns and sits 0.5 miles from the shores of Derwentwater, where you can hop aboard a launch, hire a motorboat or tackle the scenic 10-mile lakeside walk. Keen walkers can lace up their walking boots and conquer Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles). Pony trekking, climbing and adventures in the surrounding area, including boating and wild swimming at Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles), provide plenty of ways to fill your days.

Inside, the apartment has an open-plan living area brings everyone together, with two comfortable leather sofas, an armchair, solid oak furniture and entertainment including a Smart TV, DAB radio and iPod dock to keep you entertained.
