Everything about the apartment oozes quality and character, with ornamental fireplace and original ornamental range, smoothly blending the new with the old. From the marble work tops to the original range in the kitchen, and the quality furnishings to the curved stone mullioned window in the living room. Situated on the first floor, Bag End lay untouched and unoccupied for many years, so when the owners bought it, it took almost a year to restore it to its former glory, but with the addition of every modern day facility. The location in the centre of Keswick allows immediate access to the wealth of amenities provided in this vibrant market town, the lake and theatre are approximately half a mile away and the fells are accessible on foot from the doorstep.

Excellent property, 3rd time there and plan to return n summer.If I’m forced to find a negative it wouldbe the kitchen lighting could of been brighter. Other than that it’s in my top 3 Keswick apartments to stay in 🙌

Bag End is a very spacious apartment with access via a side entrance them up a couple of small flights of stairs.The chairs and bed are very comfortable and the shower was excellent too.The only issue we had was the TV, although you could access Netflix etc, it was difficult to work as a standard TV with normal channels.Would I stay again, yes definitely as the location and other amenities which comes with the apartment made our stay a great one.

This is our 4th time staying in this apartment. We love it as a great size, superb location but feel that it is time that it was updated as looking tired. I know it's self catering but not having even the basics provided let's it down.No salt & Pepper.No spare swing bin bags.No "Normal TV channels".No dish washer tablets.I know i can buy them yes but it's making a lot of money being rented out and it's a basic thing to provide.
