Everything about the apartment oozes quality and character, with ornamental fireplace and original ornamental range, smoothly blending the new with the old. From the marble work tops to the original range in the kitchen, and the quality furnishings to the curved stone mullioned window in the living room. Situated on the first floor, Bag End lay untouched and unoccupied for many years, so when the owners bought it, it took almost a year to restore it to its former glory, but with the addition of every modern day facility. The location in the centre of Keswick allows immediate access to the wealth of amenities provided in this vibrant market town, the lake and theatre are approximately half a mile away and the fells are accessible on foot from the doorstep.

Overall very happy with our time there although directions to the apartment need to be amended? Told to look for Chisolms which is no longer there! Fantastic location right in the centre of Keswick.TV was difficult to navigate but better once HDMI cable had been replaced. The fridge had no ice compartment which was very challenging whilst we were experiencing 30 degrees and lastly bring everything you may need as there was no welcome pack.

Great location in the centre of Keswick. Easy walk to Fitz Park and a nice stroll to Derwent Water through Hope Park. The flat has been tastefully decorated with a lovely spacious 1st bedroom. 2nd bedroom very small. Comfortable living room and good TV with plenty of chairs. Car parking space awkward to access this week as lots of maintenance vans in the car park.Overall a good base for the area and would be happy to stay again

We stayed as a couple. It was very comfortable and had all the facilities for a couple of OAP's. Location was excellant and the dedicated parking a real bonus. Although we did not use them after some previous reviews we felt the matress on the bunk beds and they were very poor quality, some minor inverstment needed there. Although not clear on the insructions access to the carpark is via the wide alley way just passed the one mentioned in the guide.
