Have stayed here for over a decade and find it comfortable and cosy. Close to the local shops and bus stops, with a dedicated car parking spot. Looking forward to my next stay.

I’ve been to Kissing Gate numerous times over the last 10 years. Great location and comfortable accommodation. Over the years the shower has been manageable but not good. This time the shower was quite dreadful it simply doesn’t function as it should, it’s not Operator error it’s just not fit for purpose, given the significant increase in price per week I expected better.. I should add the short circuit in the bedroom radiator hasn’t been resolved since my last visit in December. In summary the new owners are not as attentive as the previous ones. Very disappointed ☹️ . Due to the shower, I will NOT return.

On the whole we were pleased with the accommodation. It was comfortable enough and had just about all we needed. Some cleaning issues presented themselves, mainly in the bathroom. Around the bottom of the toilet pedestal was really not very clean at all. Skirting boards in several areas were dusty/ dirty. Also when we stripped the bedding before leaving, we found the mattress cover and pillows were quite stained- not very nice to find at all. The accommodation is in a great area, perfect for the town and its facilities and handy for lots of walks without the need to take a car, and obviously the parking space is a big advantage.
