Laal Yan is Cumbrian dialect for ’little one’, which aptly describes this charming, cosy, character cottage. It is ideally situated in a small terrace of similar cottages, a short level stroll from the town centre. It has the benefit of parking provided near the cottage. There are fell views to the front and rear and the cottage is adjacent to the River Greta. The cottage is beautifully furnished in keeping with the character of the cottage, but with the benefit of a contemporary kitchen.
Please note: There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.
There is a small usual landing area at the top of the stairs. Extra care to be taken. The stairs at this property are steep and narrow so may be a problem for small children under 6 years and people with restricted mobility.

My second stay this year at this little cottage. Very comfortable bed, great shower, fantastic base for exploring the area, fells/mountains, short walk into town shops, cafes, supermarkets etc. Regular buses to plenty of other surrounding areas to visit. Hopefully will stay again if available.

Need to fix light in main bedroom.Would have been good not to but washing up items !Good little cottage in a nice location with the benefit of off road parking.
