Beautiful cottage in an ideal location for a short drive into Keswick. Nice pub only 2 mins walk away and nice short walks close to cottage. Cottage had everything required (especially number of glassware - always seems to be an issue I other places stayed!). No issues at all. Will be back!

When we arrived at the Lealholme the cottage smelt musty, it is a lovely cottage but could do with some tlc. The wood panelling grubby and scratches in places especially the hallway. Think it could do with a deep clean, we had to wipe some areas down, especially the bathroom. Carpet in hallway has ripples in it. The gate to the driveway is very narrow, so if you have a large car you have to be very careful. We enjoyed our holiday. It is a shame that the cottage had these problems as it is a lovely cottage.

Another excellent visit to Lealholme I can only give 'good' for local amenities as the nearest shop is 6 miles away Keswick or cockermouth which some people may find a problem although there is a camp site down the lane that does very basic stuff like bread and milk We have no complaints about this though as we love the quiet and are more than happy to travel for our shopping The local pub does excellent food
