The property is ideally located for exploring the town of Keswick and wider afield. The goodGood location / onsite parking / house is clean and well appointedThe not so goodDespite the size of the kitchen the only freezer is a table top freezer located in the shed at the end of the garden / The adjoining neighbours are loud (hearing their TV in the early hours of most mornings (1am - 2am) really isn't ideal and ultimately I would not return to the Parkfield as a result of this

Love this house, parking available which isn’t easy in Keswick, short stroll to town and easy to explore the other lakes. Garden for the dog. Fully equipped with all you’ll need.

This was our second stay at Parkfield in six months. We’re very happy with the accommodation: it’s clean, spacious, has a lovely shower room, and is well equipped throughout (although we did notice that the hairdryer, coffee pod machine, and wooden chopping board have all disappeared since our last visit, but this didn’t bother us).Parking is excellent, with easy access and plenty of space. The bed in the back bedroom is firm, while the double bed at the front is softer. We can’t comment on the single bed.Tip: bring your own food preparation knife – the knives in the kitchen are blunt. The adjoining house appears to be a childminder or similar, so there is some daytime noise, mostly children running around, but it didn’t bother us.Parkfield is on a main road, but this didn’t bother us either, and the double glazing is more than adequate to block out any traffic noise. The house is a 10-minute flat walk to the centre of Keswick, either via the main road or through Fitz Park.We definitely recommend Parkfield.
