Lovely cottage, very clean and well maintained with a nice welcome pack. Great location for exploring the Lake District and a very friendly local pub (150yards away) offering a good selection of food.

This is a lovely cottage and was perfect for the two of us to use as a base to go walking. The property was immaculately clean and well equipped. The only minor criticism is the lack of fixed window coverings. There is a street light attached to the property wall which shines through the blinds and appears quite bright. There is a blackout blind you can put up but we personally found this a phaff others may not. So I would like a permanent curtain or similar I could just pull across. Other than that I cannot fault the cottage
