A lovely house in a beautiful spot in the Lakes. Kitchen was very well equipped and the living space was very cosy. The rear garden was well maintained and an absolute sun trap from early afternoon through to sunset. You’re only 20 minutes from Keswick and 15 mins to Cockermouth. Would happily return

Lovely wll equipped cottage in a quiet lakeland village.Facilities were very good and access to lakeland walks and activities easy. Perfect location in a less populated Lake District village that had everything we needed.

Great cottage in a great location.Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. I especially loved the free standing bath! Our Daughter loved making friends with the wooden duck ornaments, plus the sheep in the field right nearby. The village of Bassenthwaite is lovely. The local pub The Sun Inn is a few minutes walk away, serving delicious food. Keswick is only a short drive away, as is The Lake District Wildlife Park. Riverholme was the perfect base for our stay.
