Guests say

This centrally located Keswick apartment is praised for its excellent location, private parking, and well-equipped kitchen, making it ideal for exploring the town and surrounding area. Guests appreciate the comfortable bed and spacious feel. However, several reviews mention issues with damp, mould, and cleanliness, as well as some maintenance concerns. While the property is functional and offers good value, attention to cleaning and refurbishment would enhance the overall experience.

Guests frequently mention issues with damp, mould, and areas needing a deeper clean, such as the shower and soft furnishings. While some found the flat clean on arrival, others noted dust, crumbs, and stained furniture.

The location is consistently highlighted as a major strength, being right in the centre of Keswick with easy access to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Some mention street noise, but most find the convenience outweighs this.

The bed and sofa are generally described as comfortable, and the flat feels spacious for two. However, some guests found the mattress too soft and noted noise from the street and extractor fans affecting sleep.

The kitchen is well-equipped and the inclusion of a washing machine and dehumidifier is appreciated. However, recurring issues with Wi-Fi, plumbing, and maintenance (such as mould, worn carpets, and out-of-date instructions) are noted.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra touches. Some guests noted a lack of basic supplies like toilet rolls, tea, or coffee, and outdated information in the welcome book. Please note that gifts or supplies are not guaranteed.

We almost did not book this as the previous reviews were so bad .The plus points right in the centre with parking included Very comfortable.Everything you need in the kitchen Comfortable bed plenty storage Wi-Fi code beside TV the email gives you the wrong code we have notified them and they said they will sort it.Negatives Damp smell in bathroom probably because no window think extractor needs to be left on more .One night a little noisy out of the bedroom as it was warm and people may have been drinking outside .All things considered we definitely would return again.

I have never had to buy toilet rolls at a holiday property before – there were literally none, not even one sheet left on a roll. More significantly, it is clear that the owner pays no attention to the comments left by previous occupants over the last 6 months or so. The wi-fi still does not work. On trying to connect to the hub, the message received was that the internet was disconnected – the cabling seemed OK, so I presume the owner has stopped paying the monthly subscription. Many of the appliance instructions are out of date as they have obviously been changed over the years and the inventory provided is very inaccurate. The plumbing needs attention; every time the hot water is used in the bathroom sink, the tap in the kitchen starts running and makes a very loud noise. In order to stop it, the kitchen tap to be turned on then off.

Great Value Apartment Private parking space, easy check-in. Apartment was very well equipped with all cooking and washing equipment, even had a dehumidifier which was great for drying my sodden clothes after a hike! Bed was clean and very comfortable. Very good value for the money! The place has obviously been lived so clearly isn't a showroom. Personally I'm not overly fused about this. The place looks like it has or may have had damp isues as there are very small patches of black mold in a couple of places. The floors and skirting boards werent particulary clean. The sofa was a bit grubby. If these isues were addresed it would be 10/10.
