Stroll over to Cartmel’s racecourse, which is known to be one of the smallest, yet picturesque, which holds annual racing events in the summer months. Wander through the charming village or hire a Segway to explore at a faster pace, just be sure to make a stop at The Cartmel Village Shop which is famous for its sticky toffee pudding.
