Before bed, refresh in the ground-floor shower room, complete with sleek fixtures, ahead of resting your eyes in either the bunk room, also located on the ground-floor, or the second-floor king-size, featuring its own en-suite shower room for convenience. Awaken to plan your impending itinerary, starting off locally in Kendal, with the chance to tour Kendal Museum, enjoy a round of golf at Kendal Golf Club, or opt for a delightful stroll across Miller Bridge. The charming main street is surrounded by charming old cobblestone roads and byways, and the stone ruins of Kendal Castle, which date back to the 12th century, are positioned atop a hill with views of the town. Visit The Abbot Hall Art Gallery, which hosts additional exhibitions thanks to its connections with the Tate and a regular collection that includes portraits by George Romney, a Kendal native, and works by Turner and Ruskin. Nearby are limestone escarpments for easy walking that provide breath-taking views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills, and Morecambe Bay, as well as Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its exceptional Topiary Garden.

Please note the bunk beds are full sized single beds but do have a ladder in the middle so are somewhat tight to enter.
