The owner lives adjacent and outside you have access to an enclosed garden (shared with other apartments on-site). There’s superb rambling right from the doorstep, and you can enjoy a stroll through beautiful green wooded valleys, rich in bird life, and on to the tranquil waters of Coniston’s lake shore. You’re also within a convenient walking distance of the village inns with some top quality pub grub and restaurant food on offer. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 150 yards.

My children and I had a wonderful stay in Yewdale Crags apartment. The accommodation is exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The apartment is located a short walk from the local pubs, shops, lake shore and the footpaths to the coniston fells. Our hosts Anthony and Elisabeth were very kind and knowledgeable about the local area. Very thankful for our stay and hope to return.

I had an excellent week in this cottage.It is well located in the heart of Coniston. You can go on a number of walks (including the Old Man of Coniston) directly from the door.The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. The home made cake on arrival was a pleasant surprise.

As a family of four, we had a lovely week in this warm comfortable apartment. The location is great for fabulous walks from the door to the surrounding peaks and lakes. Tarn Hoes just an hour or so walking distance and nice cafes and pubs in the village.
