This charming cottage in such a beautiful location makes it the perfect romantic getaway. The sitting room diner is bright and airy with modern laminate flooring, comfortable seating, multi-fuel stove and Freeview TV to make it the perfect chilling room for a weekend in the beautiful country. The ground floor is complete with a modern, well-equipped kitchen fitted with original slate floor and contemporary fittings. The upstairs of Coachman's Cottage is charming and comforting with a cosy double bedroom set with a delightful window seat. The interior of the cottage is completed with a stylish bathroom. To the front of the house is a delightful secluded sunny garden with table chairs and umbrella, perfect for a morning coffee taking in the surroundings. Witherslack is a beautiful village offering walking opportunities as well as The Derby Arms Pub, village shop and church. The Lake District is full of beautiful places, Cartmel, Grange-Over-Sands and Windermere are all within short drives and are worth the visit whilst in this area. A charming cottage in a great location.

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil and cosy and has such a welcoming feel to it from the moment you arrive. The area is so peaceful with the delightful sounds of the nearby waterfall and local wildlife. The owners and neighbours are very welcoming and helpful. It's difficult to see how our experience could have been improved.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The only down side is the tracks up to the property they are very rough and quite a distance from the tarmac road.
