Within easy reach of the coast. Just 20 minutes from Windermere, these holiday properties are set in lovely countryside and ten acres of landscaped grounds, facing south, with wonderful long distance views to the sea, and to the hills beyond. This large country house is set on a wooded knoll and has been skilfully converted into six spacious holiday houses, which are owned by the Caravan Club Ltd and situated on the edge of one of their immaculately kept small touring caravan parks. The house consists of a two storey cottage wing (W42981), a first floor apartment (W42982), a ground floor garden apartment (W42983), two ground floor apartments (W42984 and W42986) and a first floor balcony apartment (W42985).
There’s a lot to see and do in the immediate area. Close by is beautiful Cartmel Priory and the stately homes at Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall. 3 miles west along the coast is the refined small seaside town of Grange-over-Sands with lots of shops, golf and fishing. The properties make an excellent touring base for the whole of the southern Lake District. Shop 3 miles, pub with food 400 yards.

Clean and well equipped apartment in clean and tidy surroundings with breathtaking views. The pizza and cheezy chips from the on-site van was delicious, the best I’ve had for a long time. Although the nearest town is about six miles away there is an excellent restaurant in the local hotel about 10 minute walk. This is a holiday I would recommend as a base for exploring the Lake Disrict.

Totally wonderful apartment! The pictures do not do the place justice. The apartment was super clean, everything you need and so spacious with beautiful high ceilings and decorated to a really good standard. We would recommend this as the perfect place to stay as a couple with a 4 legged friend! We would stay again in an heartbeat and the morning cuppa sat on the balcony with such wonderful views in the sunshine will live with us for a very long time. The staff on site were also amazing- super helpful and polite - they went above and beyond in their duty of care to holiday makers- thank you so much!

as we had been to this venue before with our caravan and always being looked after the same care and helpfulness is given to apartment visitors the furniture in the flat looked new the only thing we noticed was the hot water was a bit slow but after a day or so you get used to it and it did not spoil the stay and no doubt we will be back
