This is a lovely cottage situated in a quiet, convenient place for exploring the Lakes. However, I felt it needed a bit of TLC; the entrance/hallway and stairs could do with a coat of paint (preferably a different colour!), and the window frames need attention. The TV didn't always work as the signal was sometimes weak or lacking altogether. I expected to find a folder informing me of good places to shop/eat out, & what to do with rubbish/recyclables on my departure etc. but found nothing. I would book it again, but would hope to see some improvements.

The cottage was spacious and looked exactly as listed - but unfortunately it was not a cozy place to stay. Upstairs was hot, downstairs was cold. Windows were painted shut so we couldnt get cool air in, and there were no blankets for making the living room useful. Also, we ran out of toilet paper the first day, and we had to buy laundry soap.
