Great family stay in a nicely secluded area of the Lake District. Fantastic scenery and walks from the doorstep! Really enjoyed our stay at Fell View, and the host made us feel welcome on arrival.

An excellent cottage in Kentmere in the Lake District. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. The owner Jeff lives next door and is extremely helpful.

Nice, clean house, somewhat isolated, which is very peaceful. The road to the house is narrow and curvy, so slow driving is necessary and be prepared to reverse when encountering oncoming traffic. No mobile signal, but wifi is good. Near Lake Windermere, a nice touristic place with lots of restaurants. Ambleside is another very nice town nearby. Very much possibilities of walking, climbing; for instance (the old man of) Coniston.
